Dr. Bernhard Isenring, Attorney, has been practicing forensic and advisory law for over fifteen years, primarily in the fields of criminal law and criminal procedure, with a focus on economic criminal law and international legal assistance in criminal matters. In addition to his legal practice, Dr. Bernhard Isenring regularly lectures at various professional events (e.g., Specialist Lawyer Course in Criminal Law SAV, CAS Criminal Procedure Course, etc.). He also frequently publishes articles in legal journals on current topics in criminal law and criminal procedure. Among other contributions, he is a co-author (starting from the 20th edition) of the “Orell-Füssli” commentary on the Swiss Criminal Code (Articles 265 – 332 StGB) and (from the 4th edition) of the Basel Commentary on Criminal Law II (Articles 194 – 200, Articles 265 – 267 StGB). Dr. Isenring is also committed to military justice, currently serving as Chief of Training for Military Justice/Staff Auditor General’s Office (with the rank of Colonel). Previously, he served as a military investigating judge, prosecutor (Auditor), and President II of Military Court 6.
Dr. Bernhard Isenring is a member of the Zurich, St. Gallen, and Swiss Bar Associations, the Economic Law Association, and the Criminal Defense Emergency Service.
